  • Should I buy from Pink Label Corsets?

I've only seen reviews from this site on one other site but I see a lot of people recommending it. Can someone please let me know if it's safe to buy from? I've only read two bad reviews but the company has been around for a long time and I need more the two reviews (positive or not) before making a decision. So, please someone let me know if this site is reliable and legit. If not can someone suggest a site that sells affordable corsets?

  • Are my Fire Belly Toads Fighting or Mating?

I use to think that the smaller one was female but now that I have my male in the tank with her it sounds like shes barking too. I'm not sure though.

I have a video of them "fighting" or mating in the water here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7bBkvC6pqQ

The reason it's titled to males is because I assumed that after three weeks of with no eggs that they must just be two males. However I may be wrong. The smaller one is the female (she's younger the the other one) and the big one is the new guy.

I know that for frogs and other cold blooded animals the females are bigger but as I said before he's older. Anyway, watch the video and tell me what they are doing. I really want them to be mating.

  • Quick Iguana Cage Question?

Okay, so my iguana is a year and a half and I am just now able to get his big tank built (should be done in a week or two) and I just wanted to make sure that I had every thing perfect before I go out and buy everything. Let me know if I'm off or missing something. I kind of want to get this right the first time.

I plan on using this design (different measurements and wood):

    http://www.lizardcages.fws1.com/iguanaworld.htm

The cage will be 6' tall 6' wide and 3' deep.

I'll be using oak, poly glass, and some kind of tile for the bottom of the cage.

A screen for the roof so that I can simply put his heat lamps/UVB (4, two of each) on top.

A hinged door (or maybe sliding I'll have to talk to the guys building the cage).

Now for my questions. I know that iguanas if left to themselves will poop all over their cage and through their food and water around. Is there some kind of gloss that I can use on the wood (for the inside) that will make the wood easy to clean and less likely to swell and also will not become toxic when his lamps get hot? If not, what do you use to keep your iguanas cage clean and wood-bubble free?

Next question; I plan on taking my iguana into the vet next month to see what sex he/she is because I hear that females have issues with egg laying and he/she has been acting strange lately. He doesn't eat nearly as much as he did when he was only 2ft (nose to tail). Otherwise his eating habits he seems active, strong, angry and green (has yet to stop shedding also). Could the feeding be an issue or am I just worrying too much?

P.S. Because I know this will come up. The only reason I waited so long (not willingly) to get started on his new cage is simply because of financial problems. I almost thought that I would have to get rid of him. But I got a raise earlier this year and was able to save. So, now I have the money and after this he shouldn't cost me too much more. (though I have a savings for any emergency with me, family, and my animals)

And . . . yeah, that's it. I would like to get started this weekend so let me know! Also I'll be getting all supplies from Home Depot and Lowe's. Because they are close to me and I have a Home Depot gift card. So if you can make references to either of those stores for supplies that would be extra helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

  • If I buy WoW in the store will I have to pay again later?

Is it like a subscription or a one time fee. Will I get the full game forever (not counting upgrades and such - or maybe counting upgrades?-) or will I need to pay again in a month/year/whatever?

Please and thank you! I really want the game (I'm getting an external harddrive and everything so that my computer will run faster -though I need the harddrive for more then just games) I just don't know what I'm doing so any help regarding what to buy and what all comes with the purchase would be great! Thanks!

P.S. if you couldn't tell I've never played the game before so be kind when giving instructions please.

  • A free video converter that takes more then 100MB?

I need one, I can't find anything. I would prefer something online but I'll download if it's safe and you give me a short review of the software.

Also, if anyone knows of a converter that can take regular word doc. and convert them to .pdf that'd be great too.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Is there an online file converter that won't max out at 100MB?

I've tried Riva (sucks), and I'm currently using http://mediaconverter.org/ but the max file size is 100MB (it goes higher but you have to pay). Are there any other online converters that can convert bigger files for free?

  • Why are so many people against these issues?

Like, universal health care, welfare, or anything that helps people who can't or have difficulties providing for themselves?

I can understand if it affected the people against it directly but it doesn't. What money is it taking away from? If you can afford your own health care then you can afford other things (health care is REALLY expensive, I honestly can't imagine having to pay for it).

Anyway, why do people fight against such things that are there to help others? This country is not a Utopia, we have poor people and rich people and there have always been more poor then rich that's just how everything works, and in the recension it's even worst.

I don't believe that laziness or education have anything to do with these issues but I hear them a lot for some reason. And I am not an avid politic or anything so my knowledge on this subject is limited. I was just curious as to why this is an issue. These things are good why fight it?

    All answers welcome!

I don't understand. I keep hearing about the world ending in 2012 and there's a movie and real Mayan whatever.

So, can anyone tell me what the hype is all about? Or at least point me to a GOOD site with some info about it?

  • Scales don't grow back, right?

Last month my garter snake shed and one of her scales came off on her back. It's healed fine but the scale never grew back. Will it grow back or will it be gone forever?

  • 32g ipod Touch vs. 120g Zune?

I'm debating between these two. I really want an ipod touch but Zunes are cheaper and they hold more. I already have a 4g zune nano, I just need an upgrade really.

So, is the ipod touch worth it or should I just go for the zune?

I don't use the zune marketplace I use cd's and torrents so don't let that influence your answer (I see it a lot).

  • How do you get more space on an ipod touch/zune?

I'm getting an ipod touch soon. Probably a 2nd gen because the 3rd gen is coming out soon but I know that it'll be WAY too expensive (I'm gonna wait for the official reviews before I make a purchase though just in case). Okay, so the most space the current ipod touches have is just 32g, is there some sort of hack or something so that I could add more music/video? I'm not too worried about running out of room for apps, it's mostly for music, but the entire reason for wanting the ipod touch is for apps, internet, everything else.

Also I have a 4g zune and I was wondering if you can make more space on that too?

The reason I even ask (because I can't find anything on google) is because a while back (before the first iphone) someone showed me how they got their ipod classic to hold more music and I was hoping that the new ipods were capable of this.

However, if this is impossible would it just be smarter to upgrade to a 120g zune instead of the ipod touch? 'Cause I'm not buying another mp3 for a long time after this. It'll be my birthday (or Christmas depending on the money) present to me.

    Please and thank you!

  • What is the best wood to use for an Iguana cage?

Well I have the plans and a person to build it, I just need to know what kind of wood is safe, sturdy, and cheap.

I heard in other answers that there were some types of wood that are harmful to Iguanas, so if anyone knows what I should and shouldn't use then thanks!

BTW: I'm most likely going to buy everything from Home Depo.

  • Thinking of getting a Leopard Gecko, is this set up ok?

Ok, so I haven't actually bought anything yet because I am moving in a couple of months and I am in the process of building a adult size cage for my Iguana. I can't get the leo until after the move, but I have been researching their care so I want to make sure that I have a good understanding of what I need.

    - 10-20g Tank for one (maybe two if I can get the genders) gecko.

    - No UVB because they are nocturnal.

    - Newspaper substrate (I use that for my other reptiles)

    - Crickets/Meal worms (I'm not sure how many a baby should have, so if you can suggest then that would be great)

    - Two hides and a shed box with moss . . . could I use a sponge? I've used moss with my frogs before and the heat of the tank causes it to mold within a couple of days.

    - UTH (what wattage should I use to get the warm side of the tank close to the required temps, high 80's low 90's)

And I believe that's it for the basics. Anything that I may have missed please let me know and correct me if I am wrong about anything.

Also, how fragile are their tails? Will it just fall off if it is restrained or would someone have to really pull on it to make it come off? I just want to know how gentle I have to be with them before getting it. And if you have any handling tips please post them. I love to hear what owners have experienced.

    Thanks in advance!

  • What Kind Of Metals Can Be Used For Building An Iguana Cage?

Okay, so my cousin has agreed to build an adult size cage for my iguana, but he works with metals, not wood like most cages. So, my question is, what kind of metals (if any) are safe for my iguana? I know that some woods are not safe for reptiles, so I'm just being over protective and need to know that metal is safe.

P.S. It wont be a screen/bar cage, it'll be in closed with vents, openings for lights, and a poly glass door. I have plans for a wooden cage that we're going to try to remake in metal.

Also, if you have any plans for a metal cage then could you post them, please?

    Thanks everyone!

  • Who else finds reptiles addictive?

I personally love all animals and if I had to choose I'd prefer the furry warm kind. But I got my first reptile last year for graduation (an iguana) and somehow I now have six. I am so addicted to them. There are soooo many different kinds and I'm thinking of switching my field of study from horses and deer to herps. @.@

Who else went from one to many without realizing it? Do you have a favorite?

BTW, my favorites are my Iguana and my snake. I love them so much more then my other animals . . . my cat does everything in her power to eat the snake and scare he iguana.

  • What's Wrong With My WiFi?

My laptop wont connect to my receiver anymore. I have only tried the wifi in my house so it's not like I tried to connect when I'm outside or anything. My laptop use to connect fine a few months ago and now I have to go through a process. I have to either connect my laptop directly to the receiver or I have to go into the living-room (where the receiver is) and I can connect to the internet and go back into my room and it'll work for a while, but then it'll disconnect and I'll have to do it all over again. So my question is what is wrong? I don't have any viruses and I scan everyday. So any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem because, like I said before, it use to work everywhere, even at my neighbors house, then all of a sudden it stopped working long range.

BTW, my room is only about 30ft from the receiver.

  • I Am Having Humidity Issues For My Iguana!?

I recently got new thermometers for my animals (electric) and I noticed that my iguanas humidity was low. So I misted him more often and guess what? I can't get it to stay high (in the 70-80 is what it should be) it keeps dropping to 28-41%. I mist the cage and like, twenty minutes later the humidity drops back to the 40s. How do I hold the humidity?

I've tried giving him a larger water dish, it keeps the humidity in the 40s now. When I mist it goes into the 70s then drops back down.

He's in a 55gallon fish tank with a screen top (that doesn't fit). He's still a baby only a year old and exactly 2ft from nose to tail (I measured him today). And otherwise this he is healthy.

What could happen to him if the humidity stays low (I haven't noticed anything yet but I'm worried that something will happen)? And how can I keep it high?
