I'm converting my car's AC from R-12 to R-134a but cannot find anyone that can evacuate the R-12 from the system here in Colorado. Any ideas? Ideally they need to be near Denver.

I have a 1995 Nissan Quest with automatic transmission. It shifts hard from first to second but fine in all other gears. I was told it could be a bad transmission mount. Could that be the problem or am I looking at a new transmission?

I have a 1990 Honda Accord EX Manual. The car turns over and starts but then dies within a second. I replaced the cap, rotor, wires and plugs with limited success. I was actually able to get it started and it idles for 5 minutes and ran up the street for about 100 yards, then it died again and would not start. I'm thinking it's a fuel issue but do fuel pumps work "sometimes"? Any other ideas? I'm too cheap to pay a mechanic...

I have a GE Adora dishwasher with food particles stuck in the spayer arms (top and bottom arms). It looks like popcorn remnants. Any idea how to get this crud out and how to prevent in the future? We bought this thing two years ago and it's been nothing but trouble but we can't afford a new one...

I connected the green connectors and received code 51 - Neutral switch (manual transmission)/inhibitor switch (automatic transmission). How difficult is it to replace this part and how expensive is the part? I've never done one of these before but I'm handy with a wrench and can do many "simple" repairs. If it involves tearing down an engine or pulling a transmission, I cannot do that. Please help me figure out how severe this problem is. THANKS!

I have a JVC Digital Camcorder that records to mini DV tapes. I can connect the camcorder to my computer via USB. The capture software that came with the camcorder is horrible. Whenever I capture using the software and then burn to a DVD using Nero the image is very grainy. Do I need better software or hardware? If it's software, can someone recommend a good free or cheap program?

I just replaced the valve cover gasket on my 1996 Saturn SL2 DOHC. I've never done this before but it seemed pretty easy. Well, after I got everything back together, it still leaks. I am using hand tools so I can't determine pounds per inch. Did I over tighten it or ?? I'm using a brand new plastic type (may be rubber) gasket kit from autozone. Do I need some sort of sealer? I really need some advice here. Thanks!

I have a 1996 Saturn SL2 DOHC that was full of oil in the number one plug. I removed the plugs and then the valve cover and plan to replace the gaskets (cover and rings).

I'm afraid I screwed up by removing the plug that was covered with oil. Obviously the oil went into the engine when the plug was removed. Is this something to worry about? If so, is there an easy way to correct the problem?

This is weird. We have had a Wii for a year with three remotes. Yesterday, one of the remotes started acting strange. Anytime it moves up, the icon (arrow) on the screen moves down. If you move the remote down, the icon goes up. Movement left and the arrow moves right. Move right and the icon moves left.

Basically, it moves the OPPOSITE direction from what it should do.

I have replaced the batteries and re-synched the remote but it did not help. The other two remotes we have work fine.

Any ideas?

I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 5 speed manual four wheel drive. The car starts and runs great but as soon as it gets warm, the engine loses power and then dies. It does not overheat. Mechanic said it's the fuel pump but that makes NO sense. Any ideas? If possible I would like to fix it myself. Thanks.

I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The middle seat in the back only has a lap belt. Is there a way to convert this into a seat belt with a shoulder strap?

My 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 Liter 4WD is running VERY rough. It has brand new plugs, wires, rotor, cap and fuel pump. I can't figure out why it is so rough. Anyone know what might be wrong?

My 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee starts very rarely and after it starts, it stalls within 5 seconds. I have replaced all wires, plugs, cap and rotor and it did not help. I'm going to replace the fuel filter and see if that fixes the problem.

The problem is, I've never done this before. How hard is this and where is the filter located?

I'd take it to a shop but it doesn't run and I am too cheap to pay for a tow truck.

I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee that turns over and will usually NOT start but every few tries it starts, runs very rough and then dies. It usually starts with no foot on the gas. As soon as I hit the gas pedal, it dies. It also dies after it idles for about 5 seconds without touching the gas.

I just replaced (today) the plugs (gapped correctly), wires, cap and rotor. It did not help. I'm thinking maybe a bad fuel filter but someone said the cat converter could be plugged.

Any ideas?

My 1990 Honda Civic is making a whining / squealing noise from the timing belt. I pulled the cover off thinking it might be rubbing against it but that was not the problem.

Anyone know what would cause the timing belt to do this? I have not had it long and it was doing this when I bought it so I don't know if it has been replaced. A shop wants $50 to check it out.

I have a 1993 Honda Accord EX Manual Transmission that has been in storage and not started for a year. Right before putting it in storage I had the oil changed but that's all. I plan to start driving the car again this week. What should I do to get the car ready to run again?

I have a 1991 Audi 100 with a power sunroof. The sunroof tilts up as it's supposed to when I push the switch forward from the closed position. But it will not open when I push the switch back. So I know it has power and the motor works. What could be the problem and how much for a part to fix it myself?
