1993 Honda Accord not started for a year - what do I need to do?

I have a 1993 Honda Accord EX Manual Transmission that has been in storage and not started for a year. Right before putting it in storage I had the oil changed but that's all. I plan to start driving the car again this week. What should I do to get the car ready to run again?

Update:

OK - I tried to start but the battery is dead. Jump started it and it seems to run fine. But when I'm driving it, it jerks every few seconds. Not sure why. It idles just fine.

Charge or change the battery, check belts, check spark plugs and wires, 90- 93 Accords are known for distributor's going bad so have it checked other than that it should be fine.

Charge the battery and try to start it. If it starts put fresh gas in it as soon as possible.

Check tires and fluids*. Drive it and keep an eye on it.

Fluids: battery (distilled water only), brake, power steering, engine oil, auto trans, windshield. (Note: check cap and manual and add only the approved fluids with the proper specs! important!)

Check all the lights and winshield wipper blades.

Probably nothing!!! Hondas are excellent cars!

start off by cranking the engine, if it starts, you don't need to buy a battery.

check all the fluids, the tires, put more gas, check the lights, and take it out for a spin!

Probably nothing. I would just check all the fluids. If it wont turn over pop the clutch, go buy a batt. and don't worry. Honda's are good cars, it should be fine.
