  • Fix Font Size After Mail Merge?

I am working in Office 2003 and am creating a mail merge in Word from information in Excel. I have added the mail merge into the document, but when I click "View Merged Data" all of my merged information is at 24 font. I have gone back to the original page and have formatted the merged data to 12 font as it says under the Help section. When I view merged data, it still comes in huge. How can I fix this quickly without changing the font on each record? Thanks!

  • Birth control, missed pills, missed period?

I plan on calling my doctor tomorrow, but thought I'd ask if anyone else has ever been in this situation. Last month I took the first three weeks of my pills and was on my last week. Apparently (due to a stressful week) I got myself confused and thought that I should start my new pack when I should have been taking my last week of my previous pack. My period did not come and it actually took me the entire week to figure out that I missed my "off" week. Should I continue taking the pills as I'm going on the second week of my new pack tonight, or should I just stop and let my period come? Will I even get my period if I continue on with the pills? Is that healthy? Once again I plan on calling my doctor tomorrow, but I'm just worried. Thanks!

  • Gall Bladder problems HIDA Scan?

Hi. The past week I have been incredibly nauseous with pain in my chest and back. I have GERD and had an ultrasound about a year and a half ago to see if my gull bladder is ok. The ultrasound was ok and everything looked fine. Now I can't eat anything (aside from jello and saltines) without feeling very sick. Did I mention I also have a phobia of vomiting. So, not only is this pain severe, I am also panicking at the thought of throwing up. My doctor ordered a HIDA Scan for me on Thursday. What I want to know, will this test make me nauseous to the point I have been aftet I eat, or will it be just a little nausea? Also, if someone could recommend some more bland foods that I should be able to eat (other than jello and saltines), I would be grateful, they get boring after a week. Thanks!

  • Preserving links printing from Microsoft Excel to Adobe PDF?

Hello, I have a question. I have picked my own brain, co-worker's brain, and husband's brain and no one can figure out how to do it, but we know it can be done. I have an excel spreadsheet that we would like to convert to a pdf file. The excel file has hyperlinks to various other documents on our network. How do we preserve the hyperlinks between the two programs? We know it can be done because our intern was using this same spreadsheet, converted to pdf, and maintained the links, but he didn't share his secret with the rest of us. We checked all of the print settings and looked through the "Help" sections of both Excel and Adobe to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Website listing of Colleges and Universities

Hello! I have already received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and am now looking into getting another Bachelor's, but this time for Business Information Systems. Are there any websites which lists all local colleges and universities (both public and private) and which degrees they offer? It's hard since I am out of school, I don't know where to look. Thanks in advance!

  • CPA Exam Notice to Schedule?

About how long did it take for you to receive your Notice to Schedule for the CPA Exam? I know it says to allow 8 weeks for processing, but how do you know they received your application, payment, and transcripts? Sorry, I'm just nervous. I would like to take the exam the first week of July and I'm on week 5.

    Btw I'm in Pennsylvania.

  • Fruit/Latex Crossover Allergy?

Hi, I believe I have the fruit/latex crossover allergy. I am currently undiagnosed, though I do have an appointment with an allergist in August. I used to just be allergic to bananas but now it has widened to tomatoes, apples, melons, etc. Because this allergy is spreading to other fruits, I'm kinda scared to eat any. My question is, does this allergy only pertain to raw fruits or is the component I am allergic to dissolved when the fruit/vegetable is cooked? Also, is there a shot or medicine you can take to lessen the reaction so that you are able to eat a piece of fruit every once in a while? I know I can ask all these questions in August when I see the allergist, but if there is a way around it, I'd like to know earlier...I'm missing prime fruit season!

  • Killz Primer?

Hello! We're at the repainting stage of our spare bedroom project. We would like to prime the room with Killz in hopes that it will kill the cat pee smell that is on the walls. This is our first time using the product (heard good things about it), and we are unsure of what kind of Killz to purchase. We would need it for interior painting of walls. So which is the best kind to get?

  • Molding or carpet?

Hi. We're currently redoing our spare bedroom complete with new carpet, new paint, and new molding. We've ripped up the old carpet and removed the old molding from the walls. We plan to paint next weekend. My question is, do we install the new molding before or after the new carpet is installed (in about two weeks after painting is done)? Which is the best way to go?

  • Need money for Education that will be reimbursed?

I am going for my CPA license which my employer will reimburse me for, but not until after I pass each section of the exam individually. The classes and test will be approximately $900 per section and I will need about a $2,000 in a short-term loan. What kind of loan would be the best to get, I am hoping to pass all parts of the exam by November so I would only need the loan for about a year. I bought a house last year, and therefore I don't have a whole lot of equity built up in yet. I'm trying to find a low interest rate so I'm not paying more than I have to. Any suggestions?

  • Cat urine smell?

The previous owner of our house had two or three cats who urinated on the carpet, and sadly she did not clean up after them. My sister will be moving in with us, so we are now ready to get new carpeting. We have spoken with a few people who have suggested cleaning the floorboards under the current carpet, then putting a sealer down before the new carpeting is installed. Has anyone done this before? What has been your experience? Is there anything more that I can do to ensure the smell does not leach into the new carpet?

PS: We will also be repainting and installing new molding.

  • Temporary solution to cat urine smell?

Are there any temporary solutions to getting the cat urine smell out of a room. We plan to do the whole rip up carpet, reseal floor, put new carpet down thing, but is there a way to cut down on the smell beforehand? We don't have the funds to get new carpeting quite yet and I can't even walk into our one room because it smells so bad (and I'm allergic to cats). Anything that can help is appreciated.

  • Question about the GRE's?

I decided to go back to school and get my MBA. Most of the colleges I am applying for require GRE scores of 500+ and essay score of 4+. I am do not do well with standardized tests (My SATs were slightly below average), but I did well getting my bachelors and graduated Magna *** Laude. I'm just curious as to how the GRE's are graded? I understand each question is weighted upon the last, but is it difficult to get over a 500? Also, how strict is the grading of the essays? I'm just curious (well nervous, rather) about the test. I did buy a study book and it has helped me a ton already.

Edit: I find it amusing it censored the word above. haha!

  • Does anyone else cry...?

at the end of the one Futurama episode where Fry decides not to revive his dog from the past because he thought that the dog lived a happy life after he left, but in reality the dog sat and waited (and eventually died) waiting for him to return? That episode gets me everytime.

  • Saving for a baby?

My husband and I would like to have a baby in the next couple of years, but we want to be financially stable before having one. What amount would you consider to be a good savings before having a child? I would like to take off of work for about 6 months then return part-time. My husband has a steady full-time job and some extra income on the side.

  • Supplemental Income?

I have a full-time job and so does my husband. We just bought a house and I'd like to pay off some of our debts like car loans and student loans. I was wondering if there are any jobs out there where I can work from home on the weekends and make a few bucks ($100 or so). I was wondering if anyone out there has done any of these work from home programs and if they are just a scam or are legit (I'm not looking to become rich or anything like that).

  • Japanese Horror Flick?

I watched the end of a Japanese Horror flick when I was on vacation in Jamaica about a year ago. I have no idea what the name of the movie is and would like to see the beginning of the movie. It's about a single mother and her daughter (about 8 or 9 years old) and they move into an apartment. There was a ghost of another little girl who died in a watertower so the water was infected by her. At the end the mother grabs her child and runs into the elevator but the girl isn't her daughter its the ghost child. When her real daughter opens the elevator door a large gush of water comes out and nothing else...her mother is gone. It flashes forward a couple of years and the daughter is grown and goes back to the apartment and talks with a ghost of her mother. That's all I remember. Please tell me the name of this movie!

  • Nintendo Wii for November?

So I want to get my husband a Nintendo Wii for his birthday which is in November. Are there any stores where you can put your name on a list and wait until one becomes available? I don't want to buy one for ebay or anyone else that isn't a reputable seller. Thanks!
