Gall Bladder problems HIDA Scan?

Hi. The past week I have been incredibly nauseous with pain in my chest and back. I have GERD and had an ultrasound about a year and a half ago to see if my gull bladder is ok. The ultrasound was ok and everything looked fine. Now I can't eat anything (aside from jello and saltines) without feeling very sick. Did I mention I also have a phobia of vomiting. So, not only is this pain severe, I am also panicking at the thought of throwing up. My doctor ordered a HIDA Scan for me on Thursday. What I want to know, will this test make me nauseous to the point I have been aftet I eat, or will it be just a little nausea? Also, if someone could recommend some more bland foods that I should be able to eat (other than jello and saltines), I would be grateful, they get boring after a week. Thanks!

How are you with needles? You shouldn't get nauseous i don't think. As its just an IV injection into an accessible vain.. Wouldn't have thought so. Hopefully not anyway!!

    Have you tried soup?
