I want to build a wall, using standard sized bricks. The wall is 20 metres wide/long by 3 metres high,

  • Feeding Brine Shrimp to Angel Fry?

I am breeding angel fish, or tryng to.

I had a batch 2 weeks ago. Hached a weak batch of brine shrimp eggs, not enough hatch rate.

I dont know if I need to rinse the salt from the newly hatched brine shrim before feeding?

I left them with their parents. They all vanished. Did the parents eat them or did the salty shrimp kill them.

I would like to succeed next time. Help please. There were no other fish in the tank.

  • Brine Shrimp Question?

I placed my brine shrimp eggs in their salt solution 24 hours ago.

They have an air pump and light. The room temp is 23 degrees.

As this is my first go at this, I'm not sure how many hours it will take?

Meanwhile, my angel fish eggs are begining to free swim. They will need a feed sometime today.

9.30 am here at the moment,

    Any advice welcome.

  • My fish are dying en mass after 50% water change?

I cleaned my tank yesterday, It is a 55 gallon Jebo curved nice tank.

I used a syphon vacuum, and cleaned up the gravel, this did stir the muck up as I went. I tried to just get the waste from the bottom of the tank.

This tank has been up and running for about six months. This is the largest clean I have done, obviously.

Up to now I have hardly lost any fish. Well I'm glad I have many tanks, I have lost about 20 Guppies, very few left now, about 6. I also had 8 Mollies, lost 2. There were also 4 Platies, lost 1.

No more have died in the last 6 hours,, so I am hoping we are over the worst.

Lucky, I have lots of young ones, from the dead fish, in other tanks.

So, it appears I changed too much water this time. I usually do about 20%, no problems.

Does this mean the tank is cycling again?

The filter is the same didn't touch it. I have a stocking over it so the small fish are ok.

I know I am an idiot, so please don't tell me again.

    advice please.

  • Dwarf Gourami care. Information please?

Any info for caring for Dwarf Gouramis?

I have a large community tank with Guppies & Platies.

Do Dwarf Gouramis require any special care. I had two. After a few weeks both have died, their diet was a wide variety of healthy fish food. The tank is planted with many live plants and ornamental hiding spots.

    any serious advice please?

I would like to get some more, but not to kill them.

They seemed to mix happily. What have I done wrong.

  • How soon after mating can a Betta male do it all again without stressing him.?

My Siamese Fighters mated yesterday. The boy is guarding his bubble nest and seems happy.

I will remove him probably late tomorrow, after about 54 hrs, since mating.

I have 3 more girls ready to pop their eggs.

When can he safely do it all again.

I have several cycled tanks ready.

  • Siamese Fighting Fish mated today. How long Should I leave him in there?

My beautiiful Bettas mated today. He made a great bubble nest. She was fat and very full of eggs. All went well.

I left them together for a few hours. He made a bubble nest. When I went back, my girl wasn't fat any more, quite thin in fact.

I removed her and put her back in her tank. He is sitting under the bubble nest protecting it.

    Truly amazing stuff.

when should I remove him from the tank?

    2-3days?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Animals are driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!! Quite funny though.?

My Sunset Platy is almost ready to give birth. I have a large tank in my living room.

While I was catching her and placing her in a small breeding net, my

3 Pointers thought it would be fun to rip up a feather pillow.

After the fish was in the net, I turned around to find a carpet of xxxxx feathers all over the floor.

Now, I am looking at such a mess, still to be cleaned up. Not happy.

I really didn't want to put her in the net, but the other platys were harassing her. I thought she would be better if she is left in peace to do her thing.

The dogs are locked outside now!!!!!

Life is such fun? Not really a question, but you might think it is funny, but you don't have to clean it all up.

  • Guppy-Birth to fully grown. In good tanks.?

I am interested to know how long it takes Guppies to grow from fry to fully grown. They are living in well cycled and cared for tanks, temp 27 degrees C.

    Serious answers please.

  • My Guppies are pregnant. How will I know when they are ready?

Apart from the obvious, when the fry are born. Is there a way to tell when close? They have the black spots where the fry are. What signs should I look for? want them born in a fry net not in the big tank.

    Thanks in advance.
