What size are fully grown Angel fish?

I bought 3 very small angel fish about 4 months ago. Now they are almost as big as the palm of my hand. How big do they grow. How long to fully grown?

Update:

They are in a tank of their own. It is aqua one 620t. Lots of room, I think. The fish are very beautiful. They have grown so fast! Interested to kno a bit more about them.

Generally about 5"-6" in body length (nose to the base of the caudal fin) and 12" tall (fin tip to fin tip). Big fish!

The growth rate will depend on how they're being housed. Majority of Cichlids do most of their growing in the first 2 years though, I would expect them to be pretty near full grown at 2 years old.

The oscar is Likely to beat up the Angels. They are bigger, more aggressive, greedier at feeding time and generally more boisterous. I'm sure some-one, someplace has got them to live together, but there will be a lot of luck involved. Silver Dollars are active schooling fish, they simply dart away if the Oscar get aggressive towards them. Very different behaviour from Angels. Ian

Once at the pet store, they had a full grown angel fish and he was massive! With the fins, he may have been a foot tall!

Angel fish get really big ;)

They can get to the size of 4 hands put in a square shape. I don't want to go of subject but i would not have made that choice they will eat your other fish especially the smaller fish. But anyways good luck.

well, it depends on the water and their health, and the type of angelfish. although if they grow that quick i'd say that they will be about the size of your whole hand including the fingers, although keep in mind, the bigger they get the more food they will need. but not to much. and hopefully they won't outgrow the tank either. I'd say about next year they would of reached their limit, but in extra good conditions, they could go on for much longer, getting bigger and bigger. hope i helped :)
