Brine Shrimp Question?

I placed my brine shrimp eggs in their salt solution 24 hours ago.

They have an air pump and light. The room temp is 23 degrees.

As this is my first go at this, I'm not sure how many hours it will take?

Meanwhile, my angel fish eggs are begining to free swim. They will need a feed sometime today.

9.30 am here at the moment,

Any advice welcome.

Update:

The light is over the hatchery now!

My solution recipe is fresh water, salt and a pinch of baking/bi-carb soda. as directions.

is the light right over the hatchery and hopefully warming it more than 23 degrees ... if the temp is 23 degrees you will be waiting a couple of days at least to hatch them ... it also depends on the eggs ... some eggs are more expensive and have a higher hatching rate and some eggs have been sitting on the pet store shelf for years and may never hatch (happened to me) ... i would suggest warming the hatchery up a bit ... make sure the air pump goes to the bottom of the hatchery so all eggs keep in motion ... and if the salt solution is off at all, again they may not hatch ... i raised dwarf puffer fry and ended up killing the entire first batch due to my inability to hatch brine shrimp ... i got the best results using marine salt and a hydrometer with a pinch of baking soda, 80 degree water, 90% hatch rate eggs and they would hatch in 24 hours ... i had two hatcheries going because my fry had to eat baby brine shrimp for six months ...

As already mentioned, no you won't be able to breed brine shrimp from frozen as they are ineffective. you will desire to purchase a brine shrimp hatcher equipment, this is a field that is going into your tank and you upload the brine shrimp eggs that are provided with the equipment into the hatcher ( 3 drops supply around 5,000 brine shrimp) hatching time takes between 24 and 40 8 hours, it could then be used as nutrition, yet once you prefer to rear it to grownup brine shrimp you will desire to establish a small tank (a million to 2 gallons) feed with the brine shrimp nutrition, and that they'd desire to attain grownup length in 12 to fourteen days.

Visit your local pet store and buy a bottle of liquid fry food Number 1 for egg layers, this will keep them going the now till your brine are ready.

Look for them congregating at the light source, they should be a pinkish tan colored cloud or kind of ball swarming around it.
