What do you think about Poland and Polish nation?

I'm Polish we are thought about ourselves very hard working yet very envious about other people

So paste joke that we saying about ourselves :-)

Lucifer inspects in hell. He approaches the first boiler, which is watched by 10 devils and asks:

- Why do 10 devils guard this boiler?

- Because Americans boil in this boiler, they are ambitious, and everyone tries to jump out every now and again.

Lucifer goes on and sees the boiler, with 5 Devils besides him. He walks over and asks:

- Are there only 5 devils enough?

- Yes, the English boil in that boiler, they are ambitious, but at the same time a bit phlegmatic, so 5 is enough.

Then Lucifer approaches yet another boiler, where one devil is standing and asks him the question:

- Are you alone here to look after the boiler?

- Yes, because the Germans boil in that boiler, it's a disciplined nation, so one devil is enough.

Lucifer, going further, notices a boiler that nobody watches. He is going and looking for some devil who would explain to him the situation until he finds a devil resting somewhere, so he goes over and asks:

- Why does not anyone watch this boiler?

- Because there are Poles in it.

- Do not these people want to get out of this boiler?

- Yes, they do, they hard working as American, cunning like the English and disciplined like the Germans, but they also very envious about each other so only when one tries to get out and climbs on the wall, the rest grabs him and pulls him back down xD

I had Polish classmates in school. I dated a Polish girl for many years and loved her big family's home cooking. I taught school in a Polish school district. And I've had Polish boyfriends. 💕 :-) I have only good things to say about them all. A very hearty, affectionate people.

Stella's, a Polish restaurant in California, served wonderful stuffed cabbage and dill pickle soup.

I also worked for a company that administered school aptitude tests, and they asked me if I knew why the boys in my school district scored very high in clerical speed and accuracy while the girls scored high in mechanical reasoning (if this gear turns this way, what direction will this other gear turn, e.g.). Easy! They're all Polish, and they're all taught to be neat and careful, and they're all taught to be practical, how things work, how to use tools, etc., not just the boys one thing and the girls another.

I don't like Polish people that much because many of them are racist towards Asians and other ethnic minorities in the UK. It is not good for many of them to be racist like that. I have seen more than one incident of racism by them in the last 3 years. I am sure many other Polish people are very nice, but in general I have had some negative impressions about them.

I like Polish people (and Polish food). Poland has had a difficult history having had to endure being sandwiched between two warring nations (Germany and Russia) and being alternately absorbed by one or the other. The Polish identity has survived through all that adversity. However, politically, Poland seems to be lurching dangerously to the right. Extremes aren't good for anybody. I also think that the Catholic Church has too much influence. Nothing against the Polish people though.
