Will an atm give out zlotys if my card is in Euro?

I'm leaving on Thursday so I wont have time to exchange currency so I'm just wondering if when I'm in poland an I go to an atm will my card work there and would if give me zlotys i have a visa debit AIB ?thanks

    Yes, but you'll be charged for the currency exchange.

    It will defo give you the cash in the local currency, plus be aware of the exchange rate (bank exchange rates are usually poor). Would recommend taking cash and selling into money exchange points called locally "kantor"- they display rates and should also have information on provision policy (most of them don't charge provision).

    Yes, they give whatever the local currency is. You'll be charged a small fee by your bank- NOT a currency exchange fee. Check with your bank about what that fee is. Some people go to great lengths to get the lowest fee, but it's really only going to be a small amount- not worth worrying about in my opinion.

    You will be given cash in local currency.

    Your card isn't "in Euro".

    Check with your bank on the cost of foreign ATM and currency exchange fees so you aren't surprised.
