WHY is Yahoo Answers shutting down ??

There will be three classifications :  Green country, Amber country and Red country.

If I am travelling to a 'green' country, I will have to have a Covid test prior to departure and on arrival back in England.  

Who is going to pay for that ?   Presumably me.   So how much will the tests cost ?

If it's expensive is that not going to discourage international air travel just when the airlines, hotels and travel industry need the business ??

I had my (first) vaccination on March 1st and was given no proof that I can show anyone. 

So presumably on arrival in Cyprus (from may 1st)  everyone is going to have to have a THIRD vaccination shot (in addition to the two U.K ones) just to suit the Cyprus authorities  (that they will have to pay for ?)  and then self isolate for a week or so until it kicks in ?

There was talk of a U.K vaccination card - but that seems to have bitten the dust.  

This should have been foreseen by the U.K government. (?)

Also, is there a list of countries where the U.K state pension WILL increase each year to compensate for inflation ?

( I know that in some countries it won't - which pretty much rules out moving there )

Best alternative to Photoshop?

I'm not willing to pay a subscription to Adobe when I only use an image editor occasionally.

Definitely need a 'user friendly' interface, good selection tools, feathering and airbrush painting. Also need online tutorials... (YouTube?) 

I have identified these but not sure which is best or if there is a better alternative....

I was there in August 1989....  45 years after the September 1944 battle of Arnhem.   Walked across Arnhem road bridge (replaced in 1947, but you can still see damage to parts of the stonework at the base of the bridge)

There is a film ' theirs is the Glory ' made in 1945 which included many of those actually involved and re-enacts some of the fighting at the then unrebuilt bridge area and Oosterbeek town and it is showing on freeview channel 20 in U.K at 13:45.

A letter in a bottle that was supposedly thrown into the sea in 1961 has supposedly been washed up somewhere in U.K.

It was thrown into the sea with the aim of it arriving in America but it has supposedly washed up on U.K shores 60 years later.

Part of the note in it says "Roy Orbison is beginning to kick off here" 

Sounds to me like someone in 2021 thought of someone from the early 60's and Roy Orbison sprang to mind.

Do you think this is just a 2021 attention seeking stunt ?   i.e he found an old bottle and decided to write out a note supposedly from 1961 and then phone the media ?

( It's also legal in Russia, Finland, Argentina, Chile, Cambodia and Romania )

If China launched an invasion of Taiwan I envisage that the first thing they would do is launch a few hundred cruise missiles against the command and control structure, the radar sites, the SAM sites, naval vessels in port, airbases.

Then send in their stealth fighters flying top cover and their attack aircraft lower down.If the cruise missile launches can be detected and tracked the data can be relayed to aircraft and missile sites and they can be shot down.Is this possible from satellites in geostationary orbit 22,000 miles up or would a satellite have to be in low earth orbit (necessitating the need for 50-60 satellites as they pass over every 90 minutes ?) and making them easier targets for Chinese anti satellite missiles. 

The only other thing I can think of is AWACS constant patrols but they can be take out by long range missiles.
