School dress up day - Any ideas? Teens especially.?
Hi!
I'm 14 years old and my school has an annual dress-up day with a theme, this year's theme is "when we were young". So you dress up as things from when you were young (like from birth to about 10 years old) A lot of people are dressing up as faeries, the wiggles, hi-five and mickey mouse characters. The problem is, I'm not sure what I want to do?! It needs to be a relatively easy costume, DIY at home. I was thinking queen of hearts, but i'm not sure what to do for the costume.
So, teens especially, what do you remember loving from when you were young? Or, do you have any costume ideas? Nothing inappropriate, this is a private catholic school :P

You could go in a really cute polka dot mini frock. A little frock above the knees with a really cute headband .
Or
You could wear a really cute princess gown with a crown on the head.

You could dress up as a Barbie doll. All you need is a blonde wig, dress, cute heels or flats and light makeup (don't forget lots of pink!) You could check out some tutorial videos on youtube or something to help you with this idea (:

Don't go too extreme. Do you want to make people laugh with your costume? Do you want to make people smile with your costume? Do you want to make people look a bit horrified with your costume? The important thing to remember is that the theme is "when we were young" not full out costume. why not see if there are any things from your toddler years that you could get inspiration from. Do you know anyone who's a baby? Try and see how they act with their clothes. Do they get it all dirty or do they keep it all neat and tidy? Try and give the impression that you really are a little kid.

I think it needs to be something "YOU" liked but don't forget objects and toys. I like the pajama idea that someone else posted. Sorry i don't have a better suggestion.

Put on something you can be comfortable the whole day.Especially if you have plans to go for a treat.

If I were you I would TOTALLY dress up as Dora The Explorer! She is cute and classic. :)

what i think would be AWESOME would be something from the Dr. Suess books :)
