I have to break a social norm for my Multicultural Studies class, and I need ideas as to what norm to break.

So, I broke up with my boyfriend of almost a year roughly six months ago. Upon doing so, I explained that I had felt extremely uncomfortable with his public affection, and that ha hadn't stopped even after several times of me asking him to do so. I also noted that our personalities are very different from each other, not explicitly saying what I really meant: that he was often so rude and obnoxious, that it made me embarrassed to even be around him, much less directly associated with him.

At this point I've tried to explain myself to him the best I can without being rude, but he still wants "closure". I don't know what to tell him. I honestly can't appease him.

I feel like I am obligated to give him some sort of explanation.

Any ideas as to how to explain furthher while stilkl being kind?

If I can't, should I just give him another chance?

Is it less attractive for a girl to have a naturally "ugly" face, and not wear makeup; however, if she wore makeup she would be pretty?

I am not ane "emotional" person. I need to get over my dog who was put down today. I have never lost a close pet before this but I do not want to seem weak or flawed by being weepy and sad. How do I do it?

I am very weight conscious because up until 6 th grade I was always under 80 lbs due to Ritalin decreasing my appetite dramatically. I was taken off of it and my weight shot up! I went straight from 5'1 84 lbs to 5'2 112 lbs but it feels like I weigh 130. Anyways my bf is 5'0 and I'm 5'2 he weighs 95 lbs and I'm 112. I never have sat in his lap I feel like I'm going to kill him or something! Im a total cluts not at all graceful and feel very clunky all the time. I need to fit into my dress for the 8th grade semi formal at my school. Problem is, I'm a size or two too big in the tummy area and a bit too small in the boob area! The element i was assigned is tungsten. I will probably be dressing as the character i make. i might have a blonde wig by then im not sure. but i do have some hair extentions. im putting this out there so that you will know what i have to work with. i might be able to alter some clothing so give outfit ideas as well as powers and weaknesses. it can also be a villan if that helps. id also apreciate any suggestions on three other elements to make sort of a fantastic four kinda deal. a sidekick or vice versa would work too. thanks so much! -hoplessly loved

My boyfriend and I are going trick or treating together just for fun. A few people are coming with us but I still want it to be romantic. No couples costumes I am either going to be an Eskimo or APH Seychelles and he is wearing a wizard hat and calling himself a "fishing wizard". I have almost completely lost my voice and I have a talent show audition Friday. I am a soprano one so it is crucial that I have my voice's full strength for this audition.
