Do Government experiment on its own citizens from time to time?

I had an argument with Co-worker, on the same! I said Government sometimes for greater good, indeed performed trials on small group of citizens.

    What do you think?

What is the best way to fake my school service hours? ?

Had surgery, and and want to get my service hours done as soon as possible before the end of school.

I have to simply fill in two papers with some info about my service hours that includes phone number, organization name, and name of volunteer coordinator, and stuff.

Not just that, I used to have to turn in the papers in an office of the school, but because of E learning, now I merely have to Email the scanned papers into the school.

Could I possibly just look up service hours opportunities in my area, and write down all the information about the volunteer opportunity? I think I can manage to fake signatures of the volunteer coordinators, not like they can try to ask them directly to give them their signature.

Why are there no charities to help rich people?

Don't they know the price of first class plane tickets and five star resorts?

How exactly do i get charity organizations to stop sending me letters asking for donations, permanently?

    Favourite answer:

Well, first, mail solicitations for donations are especially common around the holidays.  You need to bear that in mind. It may explain why you've recently received many.

But second, there really isn't any way to end mail solicitations. The best you can do is just toss them unopened.  The fact is that once your name is in the database, it is just about impossible to get it out.  Even if someone claims to you that it's been removed, it probably will not have been.

My husband works for a major non-profit, one you've heard of since your childhood, and he oversees donation records for a large swath of the country.  He would tell you that there's really no way to stop these mail solicitations.  He frequently hears from his gift managers that they've just found someone who's been dead for years in the database but who is still receiving (or his heirs are receiving) solicitations.  They try to remove them, but then the names pop up elsewhere in the system.

He calls this "the persistence of bad information," and it seems to persist no matter what they do.

Don't hesitate to toss them. They're not like plastic; they won't be cluttering up the landfills forever

Is it impressive that I have raised nearly $4,000 for charity all on my own?

    Favourite answer:

As long as you didn't pester or forced people to donate than you did a good job.

In the U.S., are there any food shortages?

    Favourite answer:

I work in a soup kitchen. Since COVID began, we have gotten so Much in donations, we have to store it all in our dining room-which is not open for dine-in now, partly due to COVID and partly due to construction.

But while we went from feeding 300 per day a full meal with 5 cooks, now we are doing 'To Go' items, like chili or soup only. And our food pantry is open 5 days per week rather than 2-3. We are now feeding 600-700 per day with One or max 2 cooks.

The main problem now is getting volunteers-the median age is 72, and all of those folks are 'At Risk' and no longer showing up.

But the food is there if needed.
