How would I ship donations to an organization?

I am looking for a charity that will pay to ship jackets and other donations to a charity  in South Dakota. I am located 2,000 miles away from it and I have donations for it, but I need a way to ship them there. Any ideas?

Our church does a lot of donations. The actual items we collect are distributed locally because to try and ship them is both expensive and not cost effective. Several times we've shipped medical supplies to Haiti and they were hijacked by corrupt customs officals. We discovered that if we sent them the money we would have used to ship stuff they could buy it locally far cheaper and could get more supplies than the other way.

I doubt that, you must live in some very remote area. Around here in California, we just call one of the local donation place and depending on what we have, they send a truck over with two people.

YOu can try Corporate of some of the major shippers. They may do it for free or a reduced amount. Failing that, try the Red Cross, they often get discounts on shipping

Talk to someone corporate.  Trucking companies, U-Haul, etc. If they're going that way they might be willing to take them.
