Immediately after hatching in an incubator they may flounder around on their back & struggle to stand but do not interfere. They usually are upright 30 mins to 1 hour after hatching, once they have fluffed up.

Tippy hasn't a clue! In the wild the mother duck would sit on the eggs for several hours until all the ducklings had hatched, her body heat evaporates the moisture from their down & they fluff up that way. Once they are all hatched & mobile then they move off together to the water.

i believe so. youthful animals should not be touched too usually and can be left with their mothers, in spite of each and every thing, mothers be responsive to appropriate for their toddlers. purely like interior the e book, Of Mice and adult men, Lennie petted his domestic dog too usually, removing of the field too usually and finally it died.

I would imagine almost as soon as they are out of the shell because of predators. They must be able to run to the water to save themselves.

It should be in minutes and not into an hour.
