An iPod. Or a gift card for iTunes so she can download songs to her iPod. http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/giftcards/it... I think this probably would be the best gift. Girls that age in my area seem to all have iPods sticking out of their ears everywhere they go. Tonight my husband and I went to a restaurant and I kid you not, about a dozen teenage girls (they weren't all together) with their families all had iPods.

If not an iPod or iTunes gift card, how about cell phone charms? Here's a web site that will give you an idea of what I mean by cell phone charms: http://www.accessorygeeks.com/shiny.html Teenage girls love pretty dangly things on their cell phones.

I don't know if you live where there is a Hot Topic store but in my town that is *The* most trendy store for teenagers. If you have a Hot Topic store near you, why not get her a gift card to Hot Topic? http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/GiftCards.jsp

Gift cards to stores that sell CD's and DVD's and video games are good choices too.

    Good luck!

Well, if your friends are getting asked out, they're too young anyway. I was 14 once, boys often take a while to get into girls. I was a very "gifted" individual, so when I had a friend, I knew that it was a real relationship, not just a nominal one. Just stop for a moment and let them come to you. There are plenty of fish in the sea, girl. And some of those fish are sturgeons, some are bass. Look for the right guy (get a little older first) and then see if you haven't found love! When guys stop caring about nominal relationships, funny girls are in the #1 spot, and the pretty girls are scratching their heads wondering what the heck happened. Everyone has a soul mate (just get older, you're too young to date) and you'll find him. K? :)

I pod, cell phone ( w/ qwerty keypad if she dosent already have one, verizon has a great selection of prepaid w/ an unlimited txt msging pkg for $20 a month) gifts cards for clothes or pre-paid cards). Laptop (there are some great deals out there for under $500.) IDK, my niece is 14 & is asking for $250. Air Jordan sneakers now, lol. It can be quite expensive in these digital days ;) You can always go with a piece of jewelry to show you see her maturity & responsibility (stick to a piece she can treasure forever that wont cost a fortune). Just a few ideas, I'm running out of them now. Hope this helped. ~Good Luck!

Am thinking what I would of liked at 14. A friendship ring would do it. I got one and not one of my friends had been given one. This is a special gift to cherish forever.

Depends on the girl, and what she likes.

If she's girly and mature (just throwing an example out there..)

    www.pacsun.com

    www.AE.com

    www.Aeropostale.com

    www.hollisterco.com /ect.

If she likes sports get her clothes suitable for..well..sports!

    www.nike.com /ect.

I'm 14 and pretty much grown out of barbies and toys.

Or you can always get her a visa gift card, so she can spend it on whatever she likes. That's what my parents and relatives do.

Gift cards. Then they can get what ever they want. Or money, everyone thinks money is awesome. I know I do.

A Secret Diary - a lockable book in which she can write her innermost, deepest thoughts.

    Oh, yeah, and an IPod.
