Is this an intrusion upon seclusion?

While you're in the home of someone you're close to, going up to a closed bedroom door then practically insisting to the person who's in there on being let into it

Update:

Would this be an invasion of privacy?

Yes.  Unless you are invited, it is an intrusion.  An invasion of privacy would be to enter without permission (not knocking asking for permission).

Yes, without good reason like the place is on fire.

If you insist it's an intrusion. If you only PRACTICALLY insist, then it's not. Does that help?
