  • How can I get out of in-person state testing? ?

I've been distance learning all year as I live in a COVID hot spot. My school is not allowing masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, or social distancing during state testing as to make proctoring easier. My father has a heart condition and, if exposed to COVID, could die, similarly to my mother who is also immunosurpressed. My school will not take a note for their health issues. What can I do? I am willing to do anything to get out of these tests to spare my parents well-being.

  • Will I still be promoted to 10th grade if I fail my Algebra 1 EOC?

I live in the state of Georgia. This is my first year of homeschooling due to the pandemic and we have an upcoming EOC that I am afraid I will fail. This year has been difficult on terms of learning because it is hard for me to understand the content through a screen and I’ve read that you need to pass this exam in order to graduate. I have an 80 in the class, and I am just wondering if I will have to do summer school if I fail this test but still pass the class.

  • Is anyone familiar with CSET Multiple Subject Grading?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has passed this and would like to help me out. Basically, I took Cset Multiple subject subtest 2 math and science yesterday and feel very confident about the MCs but upon review after the test I realized I had gotten the answer wrong for one of the math Constructed responses by not adding two numerals, but the setup of the equation was right. Also got the ending of another one wrong in a multiple parter. Curious to know if I can still pass then.

I heard they grade it out of 3 for each CR but unsure if you can still get a 2 if the answer is wrong for the math. The two science ones I felt I did pretty good in. Any advice from someone who’s familiar with their grading would be very appreciated!

  • How many years are required to crack the UPSC Exam?

It depends on person to person. You can study for 8-10 hours a day, but make it worth at the end of each day. Some people spend many hours but do not get successful. But there are some people with continuing their job and some people who also give full time and crack the exam. So from this reviews hours is not going to matter or calculate. Whatever time table u make is connected through your mental ability because everyone has different capacity and different choice. But when you are studying don’t read too much at a time. Generally, it is the law of psychology one cannot remember everything more than 45 min at a time, take 5-10 min breaks, u can also have a nap in the afternoon so the reception level of your mind is highest so read-only that you can understand and memorise.

Generally, an aspirant takes 11-12 months for the preparation of UPSC exam and there is no apt number of hours and days that will ensure the ticket to become an IAS. Preparation should be clearly based on the syllabus and smart study is needed. There should be some time on hands to revise it thoroughly before sitting for the exam. One such platform is crackIAS which provides a personal mentor. Further, they have test series, Video Lectures covering all topics of GS Pre/ Mains & CSAT, Mentorship with the Director on weekly basis, Expert live video sessions on a weekly basis for CSAT and much more.

  • How do I study for UPSC mains examination?

"The main Examination is intended to assess the overall intellectual traits and depth of understanding of candidates rather than merely the range of their information and memory". - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Crackias started GS Mains Answer Writing Skills Development Program completely focuses on developing answer writing skills & depth of understanding with weekly topic-wise tests. You write answers on UPSC previous years questions. This is followed by evaluation on 8-important writing parameters and a video explaining model answers to all the questions of the test. The pattern of UPSC Mains exam is very dynamic and unpredictable. Therefore, we use previous year papers so that the aspirants can simulate the UPSC exam in real sense, understand the demand of the exam and develop effective writing skills.

  • I have three tests tomorrow (and a presentation)?

    I've studied for 2 1/2 of them.

In the past whenever I had multiple tests, I would study for bio (for example) all at once and then move on to math once bio was fully completed...

This time I broke it up, and found it to actually be better.

But what can I do tomorrow so that I don't space out and make dumb mistakes. Also will take study tips.

Tests are: chem, math, Spanish (ton of memorization)
