  • Private number plate process?

Hi, I’ve recently bought some private number plates for my car, I have received the V750 and I was wondering if there’s anything else I need to do before I can get them fitted? Do I need to register them on the dvla before I go and get them changed and fitted or can I do that before ? As it’s only a short distance from home. Also, what happens to my old original plates that came with the car? Is there any other documentation I need to get? Sorry to sound dim but I don’t have anyone to ask about these things. Thanks

  • What happens if I pull out of group holiday? ?

So me and 2 friends were planning on going to amsterdam next week, all paid for and all planned but last minute my work have decided they can’t give me the time off. I feel awful and don’t want to tell my friends, but I’m just wondering whether or not they’d still be able to go? And if I’ll have to pay anything more for it?

  • What will appear on the shipping address form? ?

So I’m sending a gift to someone via Alexander McQueen (not that it matters), but I wouldn’t like them to see who it is from, price or my address as it’s a surprise. If I keep the billing address separate from the shipping address will this stop this from happening? Thanks

What do these warning lights mean collectively? ?

In need of help. These lights came on a while ago and when I took my car to the garage they said the throttle body needed replacing, which I did and that that would be the end of the problem. But driving today they have come back on again, the car shudders and jolts before they come on. Please ignore the red light as that was for seatbelts. I’m at a loss as it’s been reoccurring for months. Thanks.

  • Why is this problem reoccurring with my car? ?

Hi, I recently had the throttle body replaced on my car after having issues with it for a while (car jolting when driving, revving when idle and acceleration very poor) it cost around 1400 to get the part and fit and I was reassured that this would be the end of it. But yesterday when I was driving I had the same dash lights come on (check engine, I think the power steering and the one for tyre pressure) and it’s driving like it has the same issue, but now the lights have gone off and I’m confused. Does anyone know what this could possibly be? I’m at a loss and don’t have another 1400 to spend on this part. Thanks

  • If I have a diagnostics check on my car will the issue be fixed afterward?

Hi, have been having problems with my car recently - warning lights on dash. Have booked my car in to have a diagnostics check tomorrow, will the issue brought up be fixed then and there or that day?

  • What’s wrong with my car?

So I’ve been having issues with my car and it went unsolved at a local garage. Basically, the car will drive maybe 20 miles, start juddering and kangerooing and then the check engine light, another yellow warning light and the traction control light comes on and the car just stops. Very frustrating as I need the car for work and don’t have a clue what’s wrong. Battery? Faulty sensor? Any help would be good. Thanks (2015 Toyota Aygo)

  • Will my engine warning light be picked up during a full car service?

Hi, I’m getting a full service on my car tomorrow, the engine warning light is currently flashing and the traction control light has also come up. I’ve purposely booked it in because of this issue. Will this be picked up by the garage or will I have to mention it?

  • What’s wrong with my Toyota aygo?

Hi, so I’m having some problems with my 15 reg Aygo. Noticed yesterday that the car was almost kangerooing when I was accelerating and I could feel the car pulling back when I was driving. Then today the engine light came on, along with an orange exclamation point light and the traction control light. I’m going to cal the garage tomorrow and book in (kwikfit) but need some idea so I can explain to them what’s happening. Had anyone else ever experienced this? Would appreciate any help. Thanks

  • How much does it cost to replace a clutch on a 2015 Toyota Aygo?

Went to get my car serviced and MOT’d today, got various bits of work done that exceeded £450, but on top I need to get a new clutch, the technician said it would be around £350 depending on the state when it’s up on the rails - this was at Kwikfit. Just wondering if anyone knows roughly how much it may be elsewhere? Thanks

  • Can I get my tyres changed during an MOT and Interim service?

Hey, so tomorrow my car is having it’s MOT and also an interim service. I know the tyres aren’t the best but I haven’t had the time up until now to sort it. So I was just wondering if the tyres do cause an issue during the service tomorrow, can they be changed then and there? I’m not the most clued up on cars so I’d appreciate any help. Thank you.

  • How do i sell a financed car?

So I was thinking I could get my car valued and then pay the excess off myself (as I know there is a lump sum that needs to be paid off). Or would it be easier to finance a second car? I work as a domiciliary carer and I have a small little Toyota Aygo (15 plate) that I use for work and the miles on it are building up quite a bit and I would like another car to use for my own leisure, but I’m not sure. Any tips?

  • Can my employers make me go into work when I’ve vomited?

So I called my work this morning and told them I couldn’t come in as I vomited last night (I work with elderly and sick people, too), but they told me I had to come in due to their being no one to cover me. I’m not sure what the rules are but it doesn’t seem right to me. I just want to know where I stand with it?
