  • Purchasing Damaged Car?

A friend of mine owns an auto and impound shop. He knows I am looking for a new car and showed me one he has in impound. It's been there for a while and the owner never came to get it. Has some damage to the front end, cracked windshield, and needs air bags replaced. He said he would fix it for me and just charge me for the parts and have his friend who does body work repaint it for me.

Downside he said is that it would be issued a "reconstructed title", and I would have to fill out a lien form to get the title in my name at the DMV. Is it even worth going through with it? I don't know too much about cars, and except for the front end damage it looks new. Interior is perfect.

I don't plan on reselling the car, but driving it until it quits on me (like my current car is doing), so I don't care about it's resell value. Expert advice is appreciated ;-)

  • iphone 5c asking for password?

Just got the iphone 5c thanks to a GREAT deal with Sprint (my first iphone and I LOVE it!). One thing that annoys me, however, is that anytime I want to download something from the app store, it requires me to enter my password. Every. Single. Time. Quite annoying if I just downloaded something 30 seconds ago. I can't seem to disable it, though. Anyone have an idea?

  • Medicare allowed amount in Oregon?

As an ABO Certified Optician working for Luxottica, I deal with Medicare patients on an fairly often basis. The most common question I get is "How much is Medicare going to reimburse me?" I know they cover 80% of the Medicare approved amount, but I cannot find what that approved amount is. I've done various searches and searched the Medicare website everywhere. I even called Medicare...who was no help. Does anyone know what that covered amount is in Oregon? I hate giving my patients such a vague answer =P

  • Wanting to redye my hair?

So, I purchased a hair dye that is supposed to last for 28 shampoos...except it only lasted about 7. So, I would like to redye my hair with a permanent color (an 8 week color). It's been 15 days since I colored it. How long should I wait before I redye it with a permanent instead of a temp?

  • What is CSHelper.exe?

I have recently noticed on my list of processes in Windows Task Manager, that there is a new process running: CSHelper.exe

I have never seen it before and know nothing about it. Is it something I need to get rid of, or is it there to do some good? Can I get rid of it if it is something that is unnecessary?

  • In Oregon, can a store deny sale of alcohol to a person of legal age when a minor is present?

I was in a store last night with my husband (who is 21) when he was trying to buy budweiser to make us beer dogs for dinner. I am only 18 and was not aware that the store's policy, apparently, must check id's of the person buying the alcohol and any members with that person. When she asked about it we denied that we were together and I paid for the other items we were buying (potatoes and ground cinnamon) while he paid for the beer. If we are married, can the store still deny him the sale of alcohol while I am present? Or can anyone direct me to a website that can answer my question? (I have already tried looking but failed)

  • 3 month old dog still pees in house?

Towards the end of May, we got a 2 month old puppy who was supposed to be housebroken. However, she is STILL peeing inside the house. Sometimes, if we let her outside when she asks, she'll come back inside and immediately pee on the floor. My mom refuses to buy a book and claims that she can train this dog because she has trained dogs before (which, she hasn't had to do in over 20 years and has made no effort to train our pup). Is there something we can do to make her stop peeing and even pooping in the house?

I don't know the name of the bar, but how do I get it back? Please help. Thanks

In the last few months I have had people getting my email address for msn, and i don't know how they are getting it. The most recent one told me he got it from something called The Market, but won't tell me what that is. Anyone know what it is or how they can get my email address? I don't give out my email address to people, and the people are asking personla information. Anyone help?

  • What type of spider(s) is this?

I took these pictures. I'm pretty sure they're the same type of spider, and we;ve had LOTS of them running around our house recently. I think I may have been bit by a couple of them while asleep, so I'd like to know if they are poisonous or not, and what type of spider they are. Here are the pictures:

  • Are there any singing auditions or casting calls in Oregon?

I am 17 years old and love singing and acting. But, most auditions aren't in Oregon. I don't have the money or the time to go out of state. Anyone know a website or something I can go to, or possibly know of any singing/acting auditions in Oregon? Thanks
