You've got 4 days until the site may as well be dead (read-only) and 19 days until it's officially dead. No petition will overule $$$. What are people going to do to Verizon, switch phone service? Those who don't like Verizon phone service already did that. Those who like Verizon phone service don't give a crap about this site.

Instead of trying to stuff the genie back in the bottle, how about finding some people who know how to write code and create a new site? I think the overall format is a good idea, it just needs better moderation (and no blocking or posting anonymously, that only helps the trolls).
