Are almonds expensive in Japan?  How about fruit cups found on shelves?

You'll have to check out the Japanese version of The Price Is Right. Hosted by Drew Wong.

B-4 I saw T's answer, I wanted to say FIRST,  you need to know whether or not Japan SELLS  fruit cups of the sort of which you ask. There are many things Japan may have (and vice versa) which you would never think about.  Pocari Sweat for one. Gatorade, Japanese style!

Not at all, at least to my knowledge. But hey I've never seen almonds per se sold in any store in Japan. Fruit cups are not something available in supermarkets in Japan (at least the ones in my neighborhood).
