Can anybody tell me the difference of distilled, purified and filtered water?
I've asked a similar question about this, but more on killing pathogens microorganisms by boiling tap water. Some say to purify the water. Others say to filter it. But, honestly, I don't understand these terms. And then there's also distilled water.
Additionally, what is the difference between a water dispenser and a water purifier? At the end of the day, I would want to save more on money by not having to constantly buy water from the grocery. Also, I value health, so I'd like to have clean water, as much as possible, for safe drinking.

Distilled water has nothing in it except water, no minerals or anything. Reverse osmosis purified water is the same.
Boiling water will kill germs but it doesn't remove anything from the water except for any gases that may be dissolved in it, including Chlorine. So if there are minerals or toxins in the water, they will still be there.
There are other ways of purifying water, such as filtering it. A filter, depending on what kind of filter it is, can remove particles, dissolved minerals, and other substances in the water.
A dispenser just dispenses whatever water it has in it. It could be tap water, but usually it is either distilled, purified, or spring water, because if you wanted tap water you would just get it from the tap directly.

Actually distilled water is the best since distillation removes 100% of all contaminants and the heat kills all organics.
It is nothing put 100% water.
I have been drinking it for 40+ years now and i have ZERO health issues and unlike 95% of people my age need ZERO meds.
All the others are merely filtered tap water loaded with minerals and chemicals that are harmful.
Reverse osmosis is the best way to filter tap water and the only way to make it safe but the reverse osmosis filtered water in the stores then add minerals and chemicals back into the water making it of no benefit and little better than tap water.

Distilled water is water that has been boiled, the steam captured and channeled into another container and allowed to condense there. That results in pure water with all the minerals and impurities left in the boiling pot.
Purified can be done by chemical purification, such as chlorination or reverse osmosis.
Filtered water is put thru a filtering system designed to remove impurities and trap them in the filtration system.

Distilled is pure water with no minerals. You don't want to drink this because it will leach minerals from your body. Filtered and purified have the same meaning, the impurities are filtered out. usually the best water comes from natural springs, so try spring water.
