A gas sample with a volume of 5.3 L has a pressure of 745 mmHg at 29 ∘C.?

What is the pressure of the sample if the volume remains at 5.3 L but the temperature rises to 96 ∘C?

    745 mmHg x (96 + 273) K / (29 + 273) K = 910 mmHg

    PV=nRT <<<memorize!!

    n is moles, R is gas constant (use correct one!), T is temp in K (C+273.15)

    Since you have a before and after with the same n &R simplifies to

    PV/T initial = nR = PV/T final

    Now sub in your numbers and solve
