Why don't we build windmills, solar panels and water wheels everywhere instead of paying electricity?
Nobody likes paying bills, so why can't I just build a water wheel on my roof for when it's raining, and a windmill on top of that, and just to top it all off, shade the entire thing with solar panels to save power? Pretty sure nobody has patented this behemoth of electric goodies, and with the right amount, could easily power my house, apartment or wherever I choose to live. Is there a law against a free market of electricity, or is it simply not enough to power a house? And why stop at roofs when you can decorate your lawn with those bad boys and charge your house for months with one stormy day!

The elite is faking that they took the real vaccine; the real vaccine will cause spiritual and physical damage. When will the official churches start praying for the false prophet? Orthodox Christian three hand signs are different than Buddhist mudras. Ecumenism = 263 heresies; each heresy leads to hell. Orthodoxy = the only true faith; Roman Catholics tried one cup - one spoon ritual and got sick with Bubonic plague; if heresy enters Orthodox monastery then monks/nuns will get sick with flu/tuberculosis (for instance); Orthodox churches who closed for COVID or had disposable cups/spoons or dipped spoon into alcohol are no longer brides of Christ (now they serve Satan and honor Satan's new COVID religion). Don’t go into UFO to be “healed” by evil demons; demons never do good. SSN is written as a barcode/QRcode; then it's put into a chip; chip is put into vaccine; chipped people are influenced (by super computers) to receive grey plastic card World Passport with no name on it (but when they stretch their hands to get it, gov't clerk presses secret button to administer the unforgivable green 666 tattoo by isotope rays). If you reject mark of the beast (by hiding within a 10-15 people group according to saints Gabriel Urgebadze and Seraphim of Sarov), then your direct ancestors go to heaven (according to saint Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov from Ural). First vaccine shuts off your immune system; second vaccine gives you diseases; third vaccine puts your immune system back and it will start fighting the diseases and will cause death. Saint Paisios from Mount Athos said that the devil wants to deceive the rich with freemasonry, poor with communism, and believers with ecumenism. Elpidios Vagianakis said that there will be seven “mark of the beast” vaccines; reject all of them! Documents are from Satan; burn all the documents that you can find. Electronics will be used to track you. Even old broken unplugged 1970 TV set will show the evil flying antichrist using Tesla's ether. Don’t go into UFO to be “healed” by evil demons; demons never do good; always pray the Jesus prayer or to saints who help right away (like saint Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov according to whom if you reject mark of the beast, then your direct ancestors go to heaven); forgive me.
Source(s): Demons grow human skin (from a sample taken during abduction) and put it on so as to look like us. Demons will invite people to be healed inside their UFOs; those who go will be like zombies after. Gov't provides demons with diamonds and allows demons to abduct people. If you're being abducted, slowly pray the Jesus prayer. Don't panic. Demons use diamonds and souls to power their UFO craft. The bigger the diamond, the more it lasts. Demons have 4 UFO bases: 1)moon 2)inside fake mountain Kailash (Tibet) 3)in lake Baikal in Russia 4)in Atlantis which is underneath double ocean floor of Mariana Trench (Pacific Ocean). There are no aliens. Nobody lives on other planets. Airplanes that go down are hit by demons because they need the airspace to fight Jesus. - ?Lv 53 weeks ago
why is the same people that advocate these things are the first to cry when they have no electricity? How does solar and windmills handle the base-load? At 9pm when there is little wind?
Now what are solar cells and windmills made from? Where do these materials come from?
Keep a straight face and honestly say they are good from the environment.
All the solar rubbish onthe roof here does very little its over 8 years old and hasn't paid for its self yet. On its 2 nd invertor the first pos didn't last 5 years

For the waterwheel you would be more consistent with stream flow if you could somehow manage to get your turbine into the sewage main. Schit can be done. Everybody is flushing or washing dishes or bathing at one time or the other. Solar panels require a lot of roof space and still the output is not that great. At night it is really LOW. Not everybody needs AC so no need for shade. Maybe train earthworms to turn over a gerbil wheel to generate power, Just need a lot of them.
As for you set up; how is water going to get to the water wheel if it is covered over by a massive solar panel roof. If you put the panel at the bottom, then there is the SHADE factor of the other contraptions stealing the sunlight.

"Windmills" don't make electrical power. Wind generators do. Windmills are for grinding grain into flour. See the difference......Mill left, generator right.

1. That might work out in the country, but it would certainly not be possible in large cities. In suburbs, local building codes would need to be reviewed to see what is allowed.
2. All of those combined may or may not be enough to power your property full time. When the weather doesn't cooperate, you would either be powerless or have to pull from a grid without any real means of storing the power yourself.
3. The cost of such a device and the time and money to maintain it would need to weighed against the existing energy costs. Where I am, electricity costs are reasonable and it likely wouldn't be worth my time or effort.
That said, the best business ideas are often those that are easily dismissed.

Possibly because it would be inefficient overkill. Rainfall won't turn a waterwheel enough to produce power. Waterwheels work where you have a permanent stream, though, provided that you can get the appropriate permits. Windmills work well in the Midwest , the Great Plains, and where you have a large body of water. The most efficient ones kill some birds, though. Solar panels are efficient in most parts of the country and are, I have heard, able to repay the capital cost in 20 years. Not very good in the Pacific NW of the USA, where you get lots of rain.

Many people are doing what you describe. I live in the desert and solar is quite popular here. There are a few wind turbines but they are small and used for powering individual items like in a recreational vehicle for instance.
Due to the fact it's a desert, I've never seen a water wheel here...

What happens when it’s cloudy. There are no wind, no rain, and no sun. Does that mean it’s a blackout.
The reason natural energy hasn’t caught on is the fact that they’re very inefficient. Charging a house with solar energy for 8 hours on a bright sunny day will get you maybe 1 or 2 hours of electricity.
Windmills and water wheels are even worse.
