Horse Getting teeth floated help?

this is the first time my horse is getting there teeth floated and is there a point where i should not give him feed he eats 3 flakes a day and is feed twice. And how long after do i wait to feed him and how long do i need to watch him. He is getting them done at 1 pm. And should i move his mineral block to a corner or take it out of his stall? Sorry but this is my first time have my horses teeth floated so i don't know about any of this. If you have any other help full info that would also be great.

You don't need to fast a horse prior even if they sedate him.

If they sedate him, they will likely want you to fast him for about 30-60 minutes AFTER the procedure.

The vet will tell you what to do.

Just make sure you have a clean, dry area for the vet to work.

You do not need to withhold feed beforehand. As long as they do not have to sedate him (usually it isn't necessary), he does not need to be watched after and can be fed at any time.
