To study at a university? You need to apply, be admitted and prove you can pay, then get a student visa. NYU  Tuition  alone is about $55,000 per school year.  Room and board (dorm and meal plan) is about another $22,000 per school year.  Apartments in NYC are sky high.

Your mother would need her own visa. She could not get a student visa. She could not get a work visa unless she landed a job in the USA. 

You can not stay in the USA. Once your study’s are over -  you graduate or quit or get kicked out -   You must leave the USA.   You can only be in the USA on a student visa if you are enrolled in a university and attending classes. 

You are not staying in the US.

I assume you mean New York City. New York is a State. Why would you want to go there out of all the places in the US you could go to school? 

During this pandemic you are not going to make it over here to attend a university.

When you go as a student, you'll generally live where you can afford - student halls are cheap(ish), and you can't take your mother. Also on a student visa you'll have to prove you can afford it .

When you graduate, you'll have to either qualify for a work visa (unlikely with no experience / further qualifications), or go home. Even if you can stay, your mother can't join you - she's not a dependent.

I suggest coming up with a new plan because it's not going to happen. You can't just plan to move to another country. You need to be accepted by a specific school and that school needs to be willing to sponsor an international student visa for you. Those are currently suspended due to COVID. You must have a certain amount of money in savings to qualify, probably something like $40,000 for every year of study, so unless you have $160,000 to your name, it's not going to happen. Lastly, even if you were admitted, your mother would not be eligible to piggyback on your visa. She would need her own. If she were to enter on a tourist's visa she'd have 3 to 6 months at most and would not legally be allowed to work - neither would you. So what would you do for money? Your mother can't stay in your dorm room so you'll need to find an apartment. Who's going to rent to an illegal immigrant who's only allowed to remain in the country for 12 to 24 weeks at most? You can apply to come but it won't be until at least September that in person classes resume. And even then it's unlikely that you'll meet the financial requirements. As for your mom, she's not going anywhere. Be prepared to leave her behind should you come. 

Many students in the US live in the university dormitories. It's by far the cheapest way, but you  can't have someone else with you in the dorm. Apartments are expensive- but your biggest problem is that your mother won't apply for any visa status that I know of. You'll be on a student visa. There are ways for students to bring a spouse with them, but not a parent. What you need to do first is talk to someone in the US embassy- if it's open. 

Heck no, it won't be easy. I don't think it's a good idea to bring your mom yet, especially if you will be supporting her.  You're still a teen,  moving overseas, studying, and supporting yourself in NY which is difficult enough.  Not sure about your income but you need lots of $$ to support yourself in NY (is it NYC?).  Also, are you sure you want her to live with you permanently?  How will that affect your personal life?  How will she spent her time?  Most young people here do not live with their parents permanently.  That said, it's totally your decision.  NY is a big change from India.  Be sure you have thought about it before you make the decision to have her live with you.
