No it is not.   The FLU usually goes away in the summer.   With the FLU you are not infectious to others until you have some symptoms.   The FLU does not have as high of a fatality rate.   The FLU does not make people act like idiots.

The normal flu doesn’t have every hospital bed in an entire state occupied. The normal flu doesn’t kill 240k people in 9 months. The flu doesn’t leave permanent medical problems in healthy people. The flu doesn’t cause hospitals to store bodies in refrigerated trucks because the morgues are full. The flu doesn’t have healthy people sick for weeks at a time. Covid kills about 30 times as many as the flu. It leaves many survivors with permanent lung scarring, heart problems, organ failure, loss of smell and taste, fatigue, and shortness of breath. The flu doesn’t usually cause long term damage. You really should go see what’s going on in hospitals in hard hit areas. What makes you think you know better than all the doctors and experts? Get over yourself!

Covid -19 isn't like the average 'Flu'.  Most people that get Flu, need a few weeks of work, due to feeling crap and ill, but only very elderly or people that are already quite ill, ever die of Flu.  Covid however, seems to kill people from every age group, some of which didn't have underlying health conditions.

Not everyone dies from Covid, but many do need to be treated in Hospital and our Hospitals, just won't be able to function at all, if they are over run with Covid patients that need to be put on Ventilators.  Once your on a Ventilator, it's quite likely that you'll die and to be treated, whilst on the Ventilator, you need a team of 6 Doctors to care for you.  We simply don't have enough Doctors trained or enough Hospital beds either.

Please help at a Covid ward, and perhaps not wear PPE.

Instead, Biden's administration intends to shut down the entire nation for four to six weeks, which will create a massive depression.

Most people who get the flu recover from it in.a few days, some will die.  It isn't uncommon for people who get covid to experience lingering effects for months, possibly longer, and the mortality rate is worse than the flu.  Covid is also much ore contagious.

You really have to be a special kind of stupid to think Covid is just like the flu".  Wherever you get your information isn't making you ignorant, you should broaden your sources.

The normal flu doesn't kill over a thousand Americas a day Einstein. And when the death toll from covid goes over 300,000 this winter, that will mean one out of every one thousand Americans has died from it, so far, is that not alarming ?
