Good Carribean and/or tropical spot, easily move from U.S.w husband and raise children, inexpensive, low violence, not on hurricane belt and?

Preferably accessible by land, not having to travel there by air or sea. Or, just somewhat closer if do have to travel air or sea? Looking for somewhere where I can also provide a more natural education.

One of the islands off the Colombian coast maybe. If you can get permission to stay there as residents, housing is cheap in Colombia and the cost of living is ok.

Doesn't sound easy. How are you going to be supporting yourselves?

Not having to travel there by Air or Sea rules out the Caribbean. (all of it) The Caribbean is Islands.

Not in the Hurricane Best rules out the South East United States including Texas.

That leaves Southern Calif or Southern Arizona.

The days of just moving in where you want are long past.

Why would one of these places WANT or NEED you?

Do you have some special education or work skills NEEDED in this place.

It does not take much map reading skills to narrow down your choices as you specifically do not want an island and it must be close and NOT prone to hurricanes.and low crime/violence rate.

Good Luck in finding Mystery place. the inexpensive places were filled up a long time ago.

Suggest you lower your expectations of nirvana and seek a place that fits MOST of your expectations.

Once all the small costs are added up a move to another country is $5-10,000 per person.

    sometimes more.

Most Islands do not have room for all that wish to go.

You need exceptional skills they NEED for a chance.

Sadly in your dreams you might find one. In the real world a much harder thing.

Maybe just get a yacht and sail the seas.a few months here and there and move to the next place. . What did you expect the children to get out of this once they get older past their teenager days? They might not like retirement land..

Portugal is about the only place for all your conditions. The moving anywhere is up to the other country if they WANT you.
