Radio not turning off when opening driver side door?
My radio will only turn off when the passenger door is opened but not the driver side door. It’s not the fuse. I have a 2005 Ford F150

Hi well it is a feature of the cars wiring.

If the drivers door shows open on the info center, you have an issue with the body control module.
If the door doesn't show open, the door position switch built into the door latch mechanism is bad.

It's probably a bad door jam switch. Some vehicles have buttons that the door hits and others are built into the door latch mechanism.
Word of caution. The auto timer for the headlights also works off of that switch and there's a chance that the headlights stay on and don't turn off killing the battery overnight.

Leave the key in the ignition when you shut it off. Does the reminder sound? If not, the door switch is bad.
