I do not like heights ! Will I be OK on the skyline Gondola in Rotorua New Zealand?

yeh you will be fine, ive have been on the skyline a few years back and just looked down at my feet for a while as I am the same as you:)

Idk if you have already been on your excursion to Rotorua, and done the Skyline thing, but guess what? you can actually walk up the hill right from the Gondola office at the bottom! (and save money, too) cos there is a path to the right of the ride up, which zigzags its way up Mt Ngognotaha.

I have been on it several times and it is easy to get used to being above the ground. Heights are not scary, it's hitting the ground that hurts! My first flight was in a winch-launched glider and was amazing. BTW, I live in Tokoroa.

I do not like heights either and I am from nz too. I have been on them heaps of times and once you get on you get used to them and you worry more about the view.
p.s. they are very fun
