Should an adult intervene in a fight involving children?
A few months ago I chanced upon a group of boys around the ages of 12-13 beating up another boy pretty badly. I called the police but these kids inflicted some major damage before the police came.
As a stranger and a 51 year old man, if I had tried to physically restrain the attackers, who were minors, could I have faced any sort of charges?

Before I saw a child seriously hurt I would have intervened with a two by four!

Just call the police and let them do their job. If you would have gotten involved and you accidentally harmed the children, you would be responsible
