Shakiness after not eating?

Hi!

I've noticed on a couple occasions that sometimes I develop shakiness in my hands and arms, to the point where they are too weak to hold things properly, or even type.

I live a busy lifestyle and sometimes I don't get around to eating enough, and I was wondering if this has anything to do with it. Can a lack of food cause shakiness?

Thank you so much if you can help!

Update:

I also sometimes get stomach cramps - not hunger pains.

I'm 15 and usually eat 1500 calories maximum, but I exercise very often.

I think you're not eating enough, therefore you lack of energy to do certain tasks...you should go see a doctor if it keeps happening again...and please eat a bit more!
