An equine related legacy.?

If you had the ability to do something for the equestrian world that would benefit folks for years and years past your lifetime, what would it be ?

Probably something to do with keeping public lands open to horses. I'm fortunate enough to live in an area with many trail riding options, but one of the areas used to be available to OHVs and they are no longer allowed. I'm hoping they don't do the same with horses. I'd love for people fifty years from now be able to experience the joy cantering down a trail in the forest.

I love the EPM and navicular comments, that would be killer!! But for me, something to stop colic quick. I've lost 2 horses to it in 3 1/2 years and I was sooo careful after my first horse had to be put down.

I would love to persuade the halter judges from placing horses with tiny bone and hooves as first place winners in halter classes. I would like to see them go back to using horses with good flat bone and correct legs. No post leggedness. and those apple butted ones that have all the muscle stop above the gaskin.

I would love to develop a training method for barrel horses. Something totally different from anything. I would love to create a company that makes affordable training books, tack, apparel, protective gear, and even trailers.

Develop a real vaccine for EPM.

Cure navicular...or at least be able to stop its progression.
