Parents..what do you think of stretched ears?

What is your oppion on stretches ear lobs? Would you let your teen stretch them? If so what age would you allow them? What's your oppinion on teen that do have them or parents that do allow them? (Personally I have half inch ears and I'm 20, I was just curious)

That is typically something I am fine with my kid deciding to do when he's a legal adult.

Before that age I would protect him from himself. What seems like a good idea to for instance a 16 year old may cause regret later, especially something so visible and irreversible. But it's their own possible regret that would be my concern, not any disapproval of stretched ears. When they are legal adults I really am fine with them making this decision.

  • The choice would not be mine after they turned 18.

I personally think it is gross. I would not allow my child to do that to himself.

I am all for hair dying and ear piercings, but things like ear stretching and tattoos cross the line for me.

No. As long as my child is living in my house they will respect me and not do the things I don't like. I also show them respect by acknowledging how they feel and caring about what they want and why they do things, but I still do not lower the bar.

I'm not a parent, but i hate them. Why would you want to do that? If you ever take it out you will be left with deformed ears, and many people don't want to employ people. I would never let my child do it.

    Body mods are gross.
