A few modeling questions?

Hi! I'm 13 (nearly 14) and 165cm tall currently (5 foot 3).

I'm interested in modeling and have a few questions;

~What is the minimum height for a model? I'm expected to grow maybe 5-6 more cm, am I too short?

~I'm 50kg, (110 pounds) too fat? Most of it is muscle mass as I swim and dance.

~As for body shape I have very long legs (german background) with a shorter torso, wide hips and not as wide shoulders (not broad), so I am not a petite body type, I'm right in the middle, is this ok?

~Also, any tips on getting started?

Thank you so much if you answer!

x

Update:

^^^Generally I have a german look (aryan) Blonde hair and all that jazz. My aunty (ex model) reckons my face is my best aspect so...not sure.

    165 cm is 5 foot 5. 5 foot 3 is 160 cm. If you're expected to grow 5-6 more cm, you'd be around 5'7. I think that might be a good height for a model. Your weight would depend on your body shape and structure. I'm going to a couple modeling agencies, and I've been told I have a good shot. I'm 14 and 169cm and I weigh 46 kilograms. So I think they'd make you lose a couple pounds. I think you can do it. Good Luck x

    Generally Models are expected by the age of 16 to be at least 5'7 so that would mean you have to grow inches to the least of being considered. I don't mean to be snarly but the Modelling industry is ABSOLUTELY and i mean the most difficult business to crack into. You have to have an amazing unique face, have a well proportioned body, great skin and hair and immense confidence. As for your weight It seems healthy but when you hit 16 your Agency will ask you too loose weight as they have more control of you and if you grow 2 more inches (5'5) you would maybe be expected to weigh around 45 kilos. Its a tough industry but Just attend a Casting or apply to an agency for Commercial modelling.

    Good Luck!
