Trailways, Coach USA and Greyhound Lines tickets?

i am travelling from Huntington, West Virginia to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and, against all attempts, i cannot seem to get a ticket on Trailways on any leg, nor Lakefront Lines, both sending me to Greyhound Lines instead. (nonsense given the entire point of Trailways, to be an alternative competitor to Greyhound) Even Greyhound would send me west to ashland, north to Columbus, back west to Wheeling, and north to Pittsburgh. The more logical route would be due northeast to morgantown and north. anyway, instead of a more direct route, it sends me a less logical path...any elaboration?

Update:

I have looked for a Lakefront lines bus from Columbus Ohio to Pittsburgh on LFL's website, and they say go to greyhound....I go to greyhound, and they say no such route exists.

Unfortunately, Greyhound does not go from Huntington to Morgantown. Therefore, the circuitous route that Greyhound offers is really the fastest way currently available.
