How to improve me arch/point?

Hi!

I have a pretty average point, and my ballet teacher says it could be better/stronger.

Does anyone know and good stretches or exercises I can do to strengthen my feet, arch and make them look better!

Thank you SO much to anyone who answers, I really appreciate it!

I have the same problem, but my feet have improved a whole lot since I started doing Thera-Band exercises for them. It really depends on what exactly you need to work on. For example, I have weak toes and an okay arch, so I do 32 full points with the Thera-Band, then I point my arch and do 64 toe points, and then I do this exercise where I loop the Thera-Band around my foot, then pull it to the side and hook it around my other foot. Then I turn out from my ankle against the Thera-Band. Generally, stretches probably aren't the best idea, since it's very easy to overstretch, but if you feel like you do need to stretch your feet out, there are a few stretches that are fairly safe. If you're on pointe, just kneel down, put one foot on pointe, and push gently on your heel with your hands. If you're not on pointe, a good stretch is to sit down with both legs straight, then cross one foot over the other leg and use your hands to gently push your arch into a nice shape. Make sure you're not sickled or pushing down on just your toes.

    Hope this helps!
