Ashtabula River Railroad Disaster?
In research, i came across the disaster, and was wondering the history of the bridge post-wreck. Was it rebuilt, rubble left, cleaned up and covered up, or what have you...is there a current bridge at or near its position, and what was the chain of ownership. Greatly appreciated.

According to this, http://www.prairieghosts.com/rr_disaster.html, the third paragraph from the end says there's an ordinary viaduct bridge there today. Now the timeline here, http://home.windstream.net/arhf/bridge.htm, says that a Wooden Howe Truss Bridge replaced the lost bridge January 18, 1877. That's just 20 days after the disaster.
