SPICA vs. 2NE1: The next 2NE1?

I don't think so. No one could be the next 2NE1 because 2NE1 is still around.

If a new girl group tries to copy another girl group, many would think that they have no originality and would get a lot of hate.

To be honest, I've never heard of SPICA until I saw/read an article when the leader of SPICA revealed that she was supposed to debut with 2NE1. Don't know if that's true or not but oh well.

I absolutely love Spica but I don't think they could be the next 2NE1 to be honest.

They don't sound similar at all either. They both have a different sound and image.

But for a rookie group, Spica is SO talented! These girls have amazing vocals and they can dance! ^^

Honestly, i don't really follow rookie groups.. ever since 2011, there have been SO many rookie groups but i've only been following 2 other groups besides Spica. I think rookie groups like them really need more attention ><

I believe Spica could go far one day!! ^^

SPICA has a different style than 2NE1, 2NE1is r&b, i think spica is more the same style as BEG rather than 2NE1.

I DO LOVE SPICA, ANDVTHEY HAVE AMAZING VOICES, AND GREAT RAPPERS, BUT I DO NOTBTHINK THEYBWILL SURPASS 2NE1. 2NE1 HAS A DIFFERENT FUNKY STYLE NO ONE CAN EVEB TRY TO COPY. THEY ARE TOO UNIQIUE. AND FURTHER MORE, ARE UNDER YG, ONE OF THE BIG 3. (CAPS NOT INTENDED)

so basically, no they have slim chances of surpassing 2NE1, and there is no reason for them to be the next 2NE1,when 2ne1 is still a quite new band.

i am a HUGE YG family fan

2ne1 is such a charismatic group, no doubt. they are original.

but i am starting to absolutely love spica.. more so than 2ne1

now i said yes because spica does surpass them in level of vocal talent-- it's not a surprise or something to argue about, spica is hands down overall more vocally talented than 2ne1 [not that 2ne1 isn't!]

park bom has a powerful voice, but.. it's honestly not as versatile as the main/lead vocalists of spica.

and rapping, CL wins hands down !

but in terms of charisma on stage, i think 2ne1 is unbeatable. CL has such a captivating presence on stage. dara has a certain charm to her. and minzy's dancing is pretty attention grabbing

so i also say no because i just don't think spica has the stage presence to surpass 2ne1.

It's like saying can A pink surpass SNSD, well I think it will be EXTREMELY hard yet anything can happen. Although no one will ever surpass 2ne9 (girls generation and snsd) that easily They're koeras national girl band it will take more than just an amazing debut to surpass them.
