Would I fry my hair by coloring it twice?

I used my usual Garnier Nutrisse light brown/chestnut color shade and my hair is now light brown with a copper red hue that I really do not like...If I re-colored my hair again tomorrow with a darker shade of brown would I fry my hair? What would Tabbitha do??????

Solution to fried hair: Mayo, Egg, Olive oil.

I'm not even kidding. You'll smell like a sandwich BUT your hair will be healthier when you're done.

I suggest that before you color it again, you do this hair treatment, and probably a couple of days after coloring it, do it again.

Get regular Mayo-- not miracle whip!

    1 Egg

1 Table Spoon of Olive Oil-- Not vegetable!!

Mix it all together in a bowl, be sure there is enough mayo to make it thick, give it the consistency of conditioner. Apply to your hair and let it sit for 30 minutes. Preferably keep hair in a shower cap, or improvise, I used a large zip lock bag.

Wash it out VERY well and don't use hot water, use moderately warm water or cool water.

I had very fried hair from how much I straighten it, and how much I was in chlorinated water over Summer, but my hair is softer and healthier now that I've used that remedy a couple of times.

    Good luck!

Well if your hair is healthy it can probably take it - of course it will be somewhat damaging, but it'll not necessarily fry it :)

If I wasn't happy about the color, I would probably wait just one day to make the natural hair oils cover some of my hair (or if you are lucky and don't have overly greasy hair like me) use some baby oil.

I know a lot of people would say that you shouldn't or that they haven't heard of this method, but my hair is long, so when I color it I have greasy roots, but my ends are normal. I don't want to fry them, so I rub some baby oil in and color it - the result is stunning.

So I would do that if I were you :)

Color it if you like :)

You can re dye your hair, it is fine and won't hurt it, make sure to care for it a little bit more though because it is harmful.

I have heard, the most harmful is going lighter and your going darker. So it should be fine(: i have done it before. and i still have my hair.
