If you miss a court date will you get locked up...?

I live in Indiana and im out on bail Ive been to several court dates well I missed a court date and called the next day and they said there was a warrant for my arrest and told me to turn myself in friday the day after tom...whats going to happen am I going to get locked up...I mean they can see im not trying to run from them....

Update:

They said friday Ill go in front of the judge and its a 50 50 chance....

    Yes, you can. Kiss judge's a***, get a good excuse like you misread date: 7th instead of sixth; etc. It Sometimes works if it was an Honest mistake.

    Some of these court meetings are handled by your Lawyer, anyway, it is just 30 seconds to set the Next meeting date. You are only "there" as a figurehead. When I was in jail, my lawyer got me out of most of them, as It was a five-hour trip and back for a one-minute meeting where I didn't even Say anything...Stupid.

    I missed a P/O meeting because I misread his handwriting and had it down wrong on calendar--it was the truth, he called me I explained and we rescheduled; it was OK

    If you fail to appear for court your bail can be revoked and you can be held until the time of trial. That being said, you could also run into a sympathetic judge who may impose additional bail upon you. As such, you'll have to pay more to get out.

    yeah there will be a warrant for your arrest, turn yourself in and it will be much better. turn yourself in early do not wait.
