bananas and walnuts-what do they have in common in properties?
My husband has developed an alergy to walnuts, same as his allergy to bananas, same reaction. Wanting to know if maybe the 2 share common parts??

>The commonality in ALL allergies related to food are proteins. Even though bananas are low in protein, it doesn't take much to be sensitized to an allergen.

allergies to two different foods usually don't have anything in common.

Maybe he's just allergic two different things.
