What is the most annoying musical experience that you have ever had?
Recently, a neighbor of mine started blasting the 9 minute extended version of Soft Cell's 'Tainted Love' over and over. He played it five times before I high-tailed it in order to avoid getting the electric chair for his murder. And I though my love was tainted before.

I don't know what your problem is, I love that song! I think I'll listen to it at least four more times after this.
I'm thinking back to the Arizona State Fair, circa 1988. I was so happy to find out Neil Young was playing and went into the show expecting it to be a big party only to be surrounded by a bunch of old fuddy-duddies who expected us to sit quietly in our seats and shut up, and bitched and complained about everything we did. That was pretty annoying.

the 1st demo i recorded with a band i grow to be in grow to be so embarrassing! Our singer grow to be undesirable, for some reason the sound engineer needed the drummer to apply the electrical powered kit because of the fact there grow to be no room a real drum kit. So the songs sounded rather skinny and the singer grow to be undesirable. And the music writing on particularly some the songs grow to be rather infantile. i'm happy i'm handed it and we proved better as time went via, yet Jeez Oh yeah at a gig i dropped my guitar on my head on an identical time as i grow to be showing off

In math class my teacher started playing songs like Only Girl - Rhianna, No Air- Jordan Sparks, Just the Way you Are - Bruno Mars, Fire Burning on the Dance Floor - Sean Kingston and I felt like my brain and ears were just dying. I like some current pop songs, but those just annoy the hell out of me.
im not good at math either, which made it even worser.

Hey now Ape! I hear ya on that one. Years ago I had these teenage girls living next door and they were outside one day playing "Last Kiss" by Pearl Jam LOUD & over and over and over....went and got my speakers and put them in the window and BLASTED some heavy metal. Needless to say, they went away... ;)
One other time, we were at a Police show and these 2 chicks in front of us stood up ALL night long "dancing" and doing hand stuff, even to the slow tunes. I thought my friend was gonna kill them. I didn't care, I usually ignore such people. But if we stood up, the people in back of us complained, etc. WTF? We're at a show folks!

I sit next to my friend who's favorite bands are Blood On The Dance Floor, Breathe Carolina, and BrokeNCYDE and she listens to them loud enough for me, but not the teacher to hear. EVERYDAY.
Can someone walk into my Science class tomorrow and just shoot me?

Hey Ape :)
My brother is a very talented musician and plays a variety of instruments from banjo to bouzouki. Unfortunately for me, he had to *practice* a ton during his teenage years to get as good as he is now. In his room. Right next to mine. Night. And. Day.

People who insist on talking loudly during the quiet (read: dramatic) parts during a concert. Go to a concert if you want to listen, go some where else if you want to talk. (and seriously, could you pick a worse place to try to have a conversation than during a rock concert?)

Here it is.

I was going to tell a concert story, too, Trixie, about low-energy, lackluster performances that I've seen... but then the kids turned me onto that link *just* for this question. lol
