Is Death the first all black punk band?

Wow, and all this time I thought the Bad Brains were the first band to include blacks. I'm guessing that the Bad Brains might have been influenced by these guys! I'm definitely giving these guys a listen!

BQ: The Stooges, Toy Dolls, Velvet Underground. I actually don't know many proto-punk bands to name an obscure one.

BQ2: I haven't listened to them either, but I'll take a look into them after these guys. :)

This is totally new to me.

I'll give it a listen and get back to you. But yeah, I would be surprised to hear of one before them.

OK... that was freaking cool.. And way better than most Proto Punk I have heard. These guys destroy what the Sex Pistols did (not that the Sex Pistols really ever did much), especially since they did it WAY before most of the super overrated Punk of the late 70s.

BQ- Well, so many differing opinions and influences that are considered "Proto-Punk", but since I swear these guys were also the first band to play black Metal......

Cool band!! Another user on here, Naz Nomad, introduced them to me about a year ago. Shame that they didn't get more stuff recorded. As far as i know, they were the first all black punk band.
