Where can I download the SM bus controller?

Hi,

I have an error in the device manager and need to download the driver for the SM bus. The driver is for the Intel ICH9 Family SMBus Controller.

Every search leads me to driver contoller program that wants to update all my drivers and charge me for its use. i just need the driver and don't have a disk.

Thanks it is all fixed, I needed an older version of the driver. Thanks to everyone that responded

    Hi, if the PC has just been 'reloaded' see if you can find the original disk that came with the motherboard; the correct driver will be there. If you can't find out, work out what motherboard is in the PC and go to the manufacturer website and download the drivers from there.

    Go to the maker's web site and download the chipset drivers.

    hi there!, just load the cd driver of the motherboard, or if you dont have the cd driver, well goto the site of the manufacturer of your motherboard and download the drivers!!
