I reccommend Toshiba, or HP. They both have excelent reliability, and great customer service. I'll give you a link to one Toshiba, and one HP.

i brought a dell earlier this year in January, have had problems with it too. my sistter has got a Compaq she has had it for arounf 10 months she hasnt had trouble with it, i dont know about customer support she hasnt had to call the company for any problems to this stage.

when i went to buy mine the sales person named some good brands hp, Acer and dell is kinda in the middle. but said hp is best. you should ask the sales person when you go to buy another.

i wanted a hp but they r expensive and the battery life on one of the ones i wanted was low, so i brought a dell inspiron 14z

    good luck

I would say Hp but have you tried opening up your Dell Inspiron and cleaning the dust out inside of it? The dust inside your computer clogs up the fans causing it to overheat.
