How long should a tooth be sore after bumping it?
I fell off of my bike and hit my face. I chipped an incisor and bumped my front tooth. I had the chip looked at and rounded out today, and I asked the dentist if I should be worried that my front tooth is still sore. He said he thought it would probably heal, but to come back if it gets worse and before it changes color.
My accident happened four days ago, though, and I'm still worried about it being sore. I've never been to this dentist before and it seemed like kind of a cheap place. How long should it be sore? Should I see another dentist now, or wait?

Over the next couple of weeks the tooth should start to feel better, especially if you baby it and give it some rest. If it doesn't and certainly if it gets worse or starts to darken, it may be dying and will need a root canal to save it. Good luck.

Hey got mine on in May, that pain only lasts for about a week and a half. Stick to Ramen Soup, easy to chew with the pain, thats what i ate. Good luck
