Boiler information - Help!?
Have just moved into a new rented flat and it has a vokera compact 24 boiler but i have no idea how it works - can anyone help?

You switch the boiler on. It is a switch which has a red light on it. if you can't see any controls to set the hot water and heating. Pull down a flap which is covering them. and follow the instructions . if you are unsure contact the letting Agency to show you how to operate it.

Vokera are at [1]. None of the literature listed [2] is an obvious match to your model, so you might need to email/phone them.
However, your new landlord has failed in his duty of care - s/he should have ensured that you had instruction manuals or handbooks for all the equipment, or failing that have shown you how to use stuff.
If you really get stuck, take some photos of the controls and post them online somewhere (Flickr, Picasa, etc) and ask us again, although that really isn't ideal.
